I have always had a passion for art. As a kid I tried out all sorts of mediums, and discovered photography around nine years ago. Since then, documenting life through photos has been my passion.
My extended family lives on farms in rural areas of Missouri. I grew up spending time outside on these farms. As a result, I am skilled in documentary photography focused on farms or stories in rural setting, which can be seen in one of my photo stories. "The Horseman" focuses on a horse trainer in Columbia, Missouri.
Originally from a suburb of Kansas City, I now live in Columbia, Missouri, where I attend the University of Missouri. I earned by Bachelors in Journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism in December 2020 and am now a graduate student at the Missouri School of Journalism studying visual editing and management. I am an Assistant Director of Photography at the Columbia Missourian, where I was previously a staff photographer and education reporter and photo editor.
